Celebrating the Fourth at the Farm
Begin your holiday with Celebrating the Fourth at the Farm at Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead! Bring the family for a morning packed with patriotic performances, old-fashioned games and a red, white and blue bike parade. Join the fun from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a festive morning honoring American tradition.
Schedule of Events:
- 11 a.m. – Performance by Professor Farquar & Polecat Annie
- 11:45 a.m. – Pig calling contest
- 12-2 p.m. – Face painting
- 1 p.m. – Bike Parade: bring your decorated bike, trike or stroller
This holiday event is included in regular Farmstead admission. The Farmstead will close at 2 p.m. following the Fourth of July festivities.
Continue the celebration with concerts, food and fireworks at the Star Spangled Spectacular at Corporate Woods Founders’ Park, beginning at 5 p.m.
Want to begin your celebration before 5 p.m.? Visitors are welcome to enter Corporate Woods Founders’ Park at any time on July 4. And don’t stress about parking — spaces are available in any open Corporate Woods parking lot.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, water and coolers for an enjoyable holiday experience. Alcohol and pop-up tents are prohibited to maintain a safe and family-friendly environment.
End Independence Day with a bang with a dazzling fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Schedule of events:
- 5 p.m. – Food trucks open. Follow your nose to barbecue, funnel cakes, hot dogs and more.
- 5 p.m. – National Guard Band kicks off the night with patriotic music.
- 6 p.m. – Superstar Mafia brings the pop and rock.
- 7 p.m. – Run With It amps up alternative rock energy.
- 8:15 p.m. – The Rock Gods take the stage with epic tribute hits by Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi and more.
- 9:55 p.m. – David Williamson performs the National Anthem.
- 10 p.m. – Mayor Curt Skoog kicks off the fireworks display.
